How it works
From tape measure to shopping list
Every BuildMeasure calculator follows the same three steps. Measure the job on site, enter the dimensions in your local units, and the tool converts them with a documented, unit-tested formula. The result shows the exact quantity, the waste allowance you chose as a separate line, and the amount to buy after rounding up to whole bags, boxes, sheets, tins or the supplier's order unit. Cost is optional and uses the prices you enter from your own supplier, so nothing is based on an invented national average.
